Hotel Löwenhof

The pretence of a lion

Our story, more precisely the story of your host Daniel Niederstätter and his family, is a journey with its beginning and end in South Tyrol. We love to travel – like our guests. We have seen a lot, have collected wonderful memories and taken the best of them home with us. To introduce them in style, decoration, furnishings and food of the Löwenhof. In combination with our love for our home country, our open-mindedness and curiosity we are creating a meeting place for locals and world travellers.

18th century
Löwenhof is a post-house to change horses.

WW I & II: 
Löwenhof is an inn called “Zu den drei Spitzbuben”, owned by three brothers. The area around the house is temporarily used as airport.

1966 - 1990
The Niederstätter family opens the Löwenhof and elevates the house to a 4-star hotel. A new dining room, comfort rooms and a sauna area are constructed. 

2012 - 2014
A change of generations and renovation – new bar, lobby and reception. 

2018
Deluxe rooms and suites are built and the new style becomes even more present.

2019 
New comfort pitches are added to the camping ground and the sanitary facilities are completely renovated.
